Your Responsibilities

  • Application and technology architecture
  • Develop complex technical specifications for vehicle/cloud systems and integrate them to create ecosystem-level architecture specifications
  • Develop vehicle connectivity solutions
  • Create proofs of concept
  • Ensure internal and external partner requirements are taken into consideration when giving architecture recommendations
  • Identify areas of improvement between systems and help design solutions
  • Build standards and best practices for cross-cutting software development concerns

Your Skills

  • MS/BS degree in computer science, engineering, management information systems, or equivalent education or work experience
  • Experience in designing architecture for IoT applications, vehicle connectivity feature implementation, and data analytics
  • System analysis experience, designing, developing, programming, testing, and solving technical problems with major systems
  • Customer-facing experience, interfacing with executive stakeholders, driving technical implementation or transformation programs
  • Excellent knowledge in software engineering and embedded systems architecture

Our Environment

Our customers are mainly based in the Detroit area. We want to strengthen our small team in the US with you as a solution architect. You will work closely with our customers and partners, e.g., AWS, as well as our SA in the Bay Area. You will work with all our products such as the Java based VM and cloud connectors for embedded systems such as cloud-based device management services and use several languages, e.g., C+ or Java and various development tools. Located in one of the most important cities of the automotive industry, you are in regular contact with our employees in Germany and help drive development there. You will benefit from our flexible working environment and the independency we provide.
