Celebrate aicas' 20th Anniversary!

May 3, 2021

When, in 2001, four young software engineers founded aicas in Karlsruhe, Germany, they could hardly imagine that twenty years on, their software technology would be embedded in more than 21 million automotive and industrial devices globally.

From the small beginnings in modest office spaces in a relatively quiet town, aicas has evolved into a global high-tech company with offices in Europe and North America, serving customers all over of the world.

Today, as aicas celebrates its 20th anniversary, we would like to extend heartfelt thanks to our current and former teammates and partners for their invaluable contributions to our many successes over the years.

You are cordially invited to take part in our journey entitled THE BEST IS YET TO COME, with a variety of special offers: Check out our 20 years aicas timeline, and tune in to our virtual roundtable talks with high-profile international speakers sharing their expertise, or connect with us at one of the upcoming events to collaborate going forward. Here’s to a connected business world!

"Silicon Valley had just hit the DOTCOM bust, but we thought embedded systems would bloom in the heart of Industrial Germany. We were excited to bring the new language Java to the Operational Technology (OT) world with realtime performance. We were enthusiastic about the possibilities that embedded software has to offer and we still are. That is why we founded aicas. Over the years, we have expanded our vision of revolutionizing how embedded systems are programmed and managed. Stay tuned—the best is yet to come.“
