CyberChampion award for aicas

Today, the CyberForum awarded to aicas the 2nd prize of the CyberChampion 2004. This award is dedicated to young, up to 5 years-old companies in Karlsruhe that combine a high grade of innovation with a good market growth. In total, 20 companies competed for the prize. aicas joins partnership with EADS Astrium

Today, aicas has joined a partnership with EADS Astrium for the promotion of Java solutions in the space domain. With AERO-VM, both partners offer a Java implementation tailored for embedded space applications. AERO-VM is the result of an ESA project that developed the first European hard realtime Java solution dedicated to the space domain.

JamaicaVM 2.2 released

The new release of JamaicaVM, our realtime Java implementation, is available since today. As usual, an evaluation version for Linux/x86 can be downloaded here. Versions for many other operating systems and processor architectures are available, please contact info@aicas.comfor details.

JamaicaVM 2.0 available for download

An evaluation version of the new release 2.0 of the realtime Java implementation JamaicaVM is available for download now. This new version provides an enhanced runtime environment including the implementation of the Real Time Specification for Java. The Builder tool is easier to use and generates more compact and faster code now. The evaluation version is available for Linux systems running intel processors.

AERO-JVM, the Java Virtual Machine for Space Applications that is based on JamaicaVM, is presented at this conference on Aerospace Systems

The yearly DASIA conference was formally held for the first time in 1996 but is in direct continuation of the 'Ada in Aerospace' Conference arranged yearly since 1990 and the 'On-Board Data Management Symposium' organised several times during the same period. The DASIA conference is organised by EUROSPACE, the association of European space industry.

Java Solution for Space Applications

AERO/JVM, the JamaicaVM-based Java solution for space applications, was developed in the AERO project. With AERO/JVM, a reliable Java implementation for the demanding space domain is now availabl.

AERO/JVM was developed by a consortium led by Astrium SAS, Toulouse. aicas GmbH and the University of Linköping provided the required deterministic Java techonogy for this project

Hannover Messe: Jamaica for Eclipse presented

At booth K11 in hall 6 of this year's Hannover Messe Industrie, aicas presents its realtime Java solution JamaicaVM as a plug-in for the powerful Eclipse IDE.

Realtime Java Technology at Embedded World 2003
