Embedded World 2019, Nuremberg

26 Feb 2019 to 28 Feb 2019

Event Recap

The Embedded World 2019 offered visitors an insight into innovative solutions in the area of embedded systems. Technological trends in areas like secure, distributed intelligence, the Internet of Things, e-mobility and energy efficiency were a highlight.

aicas participated with an own booth and showcased, together with integration and development partner Klika Tech, several demos. For the first time, both presented the use of voice commands for interacting with the realtime framework JamaicaCAR. With Amazon's Alexa it is now possible to navigate between apps, request the display of system information or control actions such as opening a window or setting the air conditioning.

Several times a day, aicas promoted public interviews, in which managers and software architects presented the company's view on the future of embedded devices, its innovative solutions and core competencies. Those presentations were followed by lively Q&A sessions and detailed one-on-one conversations.

We thank all partners, existing and future customers who took the time to visit us at the Embedded World 2019. Many promising, future joint projects were discussed and we are looking forward to further developing these contacts.

In addition we would like to congratulate our colleague Dr. Baltasar Trancon Widemann for his well attended presentation: "Matlab Simulink for FPGA-Design", that he held at the Embedded World Conference at the same time.
