BMW Scientific Award for aicas' Technology

Passion for Innovation, the theme of the seventh Scientific Award BMW Group competition, embodies the force behind every new discovery - passion.

In 2003 graduates from around the world were invited to submit degree dissertations or masters' theses that have been written with Passion for Innovation. In keeping with the interdisciplinary approach of the Scientific Award, works from the fields of the engineering sciences, information technology, and design, as well as the faculties of law, psychology, sociology and economics, were just as submitted as contributions from medicine, the natural sciences and architecture.

An all-star jury with representatives from science and industry honored the best of the many entry submissions with the coveted Scientific Award.

aicas is proud to announce that the second prize was awarded to Dr. Fridtjof Siebert, Director of Development at aicas for the development of the realtime technology JamaicaVM is based upon.
