JamaicaVM 2.1beta released

An evaluation version of the new release 2.1beta of the realtime Java implementation JamaicaVM is available for download now. The release is available for Linux systems running intel processors.

The new release has been enhanced significantly in the following areas:

• support for Java assertions and JDK 1.4 javac
• Enhanced profiling with support for reflection
• Enhanced support for VxWorks
• Reduced application footprint
• Reduced RAM requirement for internal VM data
• Reduced runtime stack demand for class loading
