 | aicas GmbH and its JamaicaVM 3.0 have been nominated for the JAX Innovation Award 2006, which is intended to honour and recognise the most remarkable and outstanding contributions in the world of Java and Eclipse. The Jury, comprised of top-class software developers and engineers selected the nominees based on innovation, creativity, smartness, and practical relevance. Although there were numerous proposals, only 10 nominees have been chosen for the JAX Innovation Award, aicas GmbH and JamaicaVM among them.
The JAX Innovation Award was presented on the JAX, Enterprise Architektur Konferenz, and Eclipse Forum Europe. These conferences took place simultaneously in Wiesbaden. Combined they represent one of the most important European conferences on professional information technology. |
