The release for Windows is provided in an EXE installer with a file name of the form Jamaica-<version>-mingw-<target>.exe. Jamica will be installed by executing the installer. During installation you will be asked to specify the location of your target toolchain. The default destination directory is C:/Programs/jamaica. The path can be changes during installation, but it must be a path without spaces.
| Caution |
Because the filesystem under Windows does not support soft-links you must add the path $JAMAICA/bin to the PATH variable in order to be able to run Jamaica binaries. |
